Rooms were bright and properly modern, nothing themed or fussy about them, and the sea view from our floor gave us something to look at over breakfast before the drive out. The laundry service saved us halfway through the trip once the race-suit smell became a real conversation topic. Straightforward, comfortable, and it did exactly what a base hotel should.
